Sigma Imaging has discovered that a recent batch of lenses may have a potential autofocus defect. The lenses affected are the 120-400, 50-500 and 150-500 DG OS HSM models, within specific serial number ranges detailed below. This does not affect all lenses, but you can contact Sigma if you have any doubts and your lens is within the ranges given. Any affected lenses will be modified free of charge.

Sigma Japan has announced availability of the SD15 from today - depending on your territory, the camera should be due in a couple of weeks with distributors and retailers. Check with your suppliers and Sigma representatives.

Sigma has made the new version of Sigma Photo Pro available for download. Version 4 supports the newer DP1x and DP2s as well as the SD15, and introduces improvements in performance particularly on dual-core systems.
SPP 4 is for Macintosh and Windows systems. You will need to uninstall your previous version.

In addition, Sigma has released Firmware version 1.04 for the DP2 camera. This improves the AF speed of the DP2. Remember to fully charge your battery before updating.
