Of course, superficially very similar to the SD14, but the larger and clearer screen is welcome, as is the slightly more logical control layout (i.e. ISO selection via the dial). The optional timer delay on the mirror up function will also come in useful in some scenarios.
Performance-wise, too early to comment on ultimate image quality. However, there is an obvious and welcome improvement at high ISOs with better maintained colour accuracy and without the 'sanitised' effect which sometimes afflicted the SD14 at higher ISO settings. Exposure control seems very good on test shots so far and, I would say, probably more consistent than on the SD14.
Overall, a useful step forwards for the SD range. Personally, I would have preferred to stay with Compact Flash cards - but you can't please all the people all the time etc., etc.
I have an intensive photo-shoot coming up and will put the SD15 through its paces out in the field - should prove interesting.
Regards to all,
